Description
While I was making 1920’s Tile, I bought a packet of about a dozen different applique needles and tested them all. My criteria included: sharpness and ability to pierce the fabric cleanly, bendability, breakability, whether the eye frayed my thread, and usability.
My favourite was the Clover Black-Gold Applique Needles, Size 12. I am not affiliated in any way with Clover; these needles were just the best! I prefer the smallest needles, size 12, but I have listed other larger sizes too, and this assorted pack so you can figure out which ones you like, since we all have personal preference … and varying degrees of arthritis.
I later found out that Yoko Saito, one of my heroes, also favours these needles, so I’m in good company!
